Every piece of jewelry is handmade in Nina's shop in Austin, Texas. Her collection is stunning, beautifully made and leaves an impression. If you want to impress your girlfriends and family with a truly unique gift — Nina Berenato is where it's at.
From her humble beginnings as a metalsmith’s apprentice in Brooklyn to gracing the pages of Vogue, W, Cosmopolitan, MTV and outfitting fashion-forward celebrities like Alicia Keys, Lena Dunham, FKA Twigs and Lady Gaga, it’s obvious that Nina walks through life with her eyes open, bringing a one of a kind vision to each design. Even after years in business, Nina Berenato still touches every piece in her collection as a salute to women made goods. Today, she continues to stand for a community where women can come together, lift each other up, and rise side by side to be successful in business & in life.
Handmade in Austin, Texas this wearable modern textile art is simply precious. Each piece is designed by Ellen Bruxvoort made with natural materials like wool, cotton, linen, hemp, and copper. Anything from FIBROUS would make your girlfriends' day! (The Large Doodle wall hanging is on my wishlist.)
Ellen Bruxvoort is the designer and maker behind FIBROUS, a modern textile and accessory brand in Austin, Texas. Although mostly self-taught, Ellen acquired an invaluable set of skills through an international work-trade program in Peru in early 2015. During that time, Ellen traded English lessons to roughly 20 kids every morning in exchange for one-on-one sessions in traditional weaving and dyeing practices that were passed down through the family's generations. Today, Ellen works with natural materials like wool, cotton, linen, hemp, and copper to create wall art, functional goods and fiber jewelry for shops and individuals all around the world. Each piece is lovingly handmade using high-quality materials and attention to detail with a confident, intentional consumer in mind.
Featured on Good Morning America, and now available at Target, this olive oil-based skincare would impress any leading lady in your life! Fresh, beautiful and oh-so glowy, I hope I find some of this skincare in my stocking on Christmas day.
Olive + M reflects the beauty and harmony of the natural world. Our products are olive oil-based, domestically sourced, and made with naturally grown ingredients that have felt the sun and soil.
We at Olive + M believe you don’t have to sacrifice your health for beauty. There shouldn’t be a choice between your ethical standards and your skincare. In fact, we have the crazy idea that they are one and the same! Mariska Nicholson, founder of Olive + M, says, "To maintain our naturally beautiful skin, we don't have to compromise our own well-being or the well-being of our planet. Mother Nature has laid the bounty before us, we just need to respectfully utilize her offerings. I intend to do just that!”
EVERYONE I know loves succulents. They're cute, not-so-cuddly, but ever so resilient and stylish. Even those with the blackest of thumbs can keep a succulent alive and thriving! Succulents and house plants from Succulent Native are the gifts that keep on "growing" and will make you the star gifter this holiday!
The Succulent Native, filled with the most unique arrangements and gifts, is the product of years of hard work, vision, and perseverance. After earning her degree in sculpting, Shannon put her artistic talents to work with a popular Austin florist who gave her bits and pieces of unused arrangements. A resourceful creative with a knack for entrepreneurship, she started selling flowers and arrangements from an ice cream bike turned mobile flower cart. After trial and error, she eventually found that most people didn’t want to buy flowers in the Texas heat…so she turned to the next best thing—succulents. Now she has a shop in downtown Austin bringing her succulent creations to the masses.
Planners, organizers, and gifts galore! Erin Condren is well-known for her bright-colored stationery, utensils and customizable planners. Perfect for business-women and young women making plans to get organized in 2020.
Erin Condren transitioned from working 12-hour days in the apparel industry to becoming a stay-at-home mom of two. She developed cabin fever and began searching the internet for career opportunities I could do from home. With a tight budget and an active imagination, Erin began making note cards for friends, as birthday gifts, new baby announcements and hostess gifts. Her friend encouraged her to sell her designs at a "shopping party" at her home in June 2004 and the rest is history…
